 "Not Bad" 2009-09-13
By K. Reiter
Overall not a bad product. It needs to be very securely tightened which isn't so easy with an elastc strap. My 3 year old rolled "over" it once and out of bed. We often find her sleeping under it or hugging it as a pillow. Would recommend only for travel when hotel rails not available or not hygenic enough.

"Elastic too loose-Made for a firm mattress" 2009-09-11
By Webdog
This may be a good product if you have a more firm mattress. However, we bought a latex mattress for our daughter and when you tighten the elastic strap on this product it does not get tight enough to keep them from rolling out of bed without distorting the mattress where the elastic wraps around the mattress and/or box springs. It did not work for us but may for you. May be OK with a traditional mattress and box spring. We do not have a box spring for addl height reasons, as she is a toddler and want her to be able to get in and out of bed herself without worry of falling out and breaking arm or worse.

 "Great item" 2009-09-10
By H. Hamilton (Phoenix AZ)
I bought this for my 4 year old. We just bought a travel trailer with bunk beds. It is easy to put on ANY bed. It just hooks around the mattress. I put it on the top bunk for him and is enough to keep him from rolling off. I liked it so much I bought another one for my 2 year old and took off the side of the crib and converted it into a toddler bed. Love it!

 "BedBugz Bolsters are great!" 2009-07-20
By April L. Jones-shelly (Anaheim, CA)
We recently went on a 19-day cross country road trip with our 2-1/2-year-old son. I purchased the Bed Bugz bolsters so that he could sleep in a regular hotel bed by himself without worrying that he would fall out. The bolsters stayed in place and were relatively easy to use. There is a bit involved with getting them blown up and deflated, but once you find the right spot, they inflate and deflate quickly.

I would like to note that the bolsters I purchased stated that they would work for a bed up to full size. I found that they also worked on queen sized beds just fine.

It would be nice if they came with a carry bag to travel with and store them in when not in use.

 "Works for toddler beds" 2009-07-16
By B. Mills
I bought this after reading that bed rails are not designed for toddler beds. (The bed rails all say that they are for use with a box springs and mattress.) This was the only product that looked like it may work in a toddler bed. (Our toddler bed doesn't have any side rails like some do.) My daughter can easily push this off and get herself out of bed when she's awake, but it keeps her from rolling out when she's asleep. I think she just needs to feel that reminder of where the edge of the bed is. I have debated attaching the ends of the bolster to the head and foot rails of the bed so she cannot push it out, but I don't know if this would pose a safety hazard. Since she isn't falling out at night, I'm not worrying about it. Part of our nighttime routine now includes her climbing into bed and me sliding the bolster back into place. (This takes all of five seconds to do.) When she moves into a bigger bed, I will probably purchase a rail and save this for travel. Overall, I would recommend this for someone who has a toddler bad with no side rails.
