"WOW this is VERY Soft!" 2009-05-15
By Michael
I really love this sleeper. It is very soft and keeps my daughter warm at night without being a SIDS risk. I wasn't happy with the hat as it was WAY to small for my daughter but I don't think she would have worn it anyway. I got the 0-9 month size so maybe the hat was meant for a newborn. Either way though, I think the price is perfect for the sleeper along so i just see the hat as an added bonus so the fact that it was too small isn't a big deal :) I'd definitely recommend this to family and friends with infants!

 "I LOVE this sleeper" 2008-12-30

I have to disagree a about the star that velcros over the zipper. I used this sleeper from 3 months until my twins outgrew them at 6 months. My girls never had a problem with the stars when they were younger and after about five months old, they would hold the stars and gum on them after they woke up. Mine had to work with their hands to get them into their mouths. They would actually entertain themselves for about 10 minutes in the morning which was a huge plus.

I LOVE the fabric! It is a thick, yummy soft fabric that has not pilled after several washings.

 "roots on star!" 2008-11-30
By Efrane (Iowa)
This is a WONDERFUL sleep sack BUT whomever designed it must not have had children! That star that beautifully covers the zipper is large enough to brush baby's cheek and stimulate the root response. Baby ends up looking for food instead of sleeping! Scissors will fix the problem. Other than that, it's soft, it's pretty, it's warm... I wish they made them in adult sizes but loose the star!

 "buy a different brand" 2008-01-25
By sharon f (Newark, DE)
whoever designed this obviously did not use it on their own child. The star patch that velcros to cover the zipper is too large and it ends up in my daughter's mouth. A lot!

One time I was holding her looking out her bedroom window and I heard an awful gagging ... and it was the star from the sleeper jammed down her throat because the way the sleeper crept up when I was holding her.

So I cut the star off and now the zipper pokes her in her chin when she's sleeping.

Buy a different brand that zips from the bottom and doesnt have a decorative but dangerous and impractical flap so near a baby's mouth.

 "strange fit, stupid appliques" 2007-12-01
By Design mama (Ann Arbor, MI)
I recommend this sleep sack, but I do have a few reservations about it and other types may be better. My baby does sleep better wearing this thing and it keeps her nice and warm on cold Michigan winter nights, but she's already growing out of the small size (she's a very very large 2 month old) so we don't think we'll get much more use out of it. So here's the deal: The hat doesn't have any stretch to it, or very little, so it didn't fit at all. The star applique at the collar is big and gets in baby's face and it's not clear what it's supposed to velcro to (there's a velcro tab on one side but not on the other so it doesn't stick to anything). We just cut it off on day one.

My baby is now 24 inches tall and the small is too short (her legs are getting scrunched up), but the sleeves are too long. I think that next time I'll go for a sleeveless model of sleep sack.
