"Not good for the money, would buy something else" 2010-03-18
By Kathryn55 (DC)
I bought this stroller to go with the KeyFit30 carseat, and I have been really disappointed. Before I owned one, I really didn't think there was much difference in strollers - boy was I wrong. This got good reviews so I figured it would be fine. Alas, I hate it and I want to save other people the frustration I've had. Definitely at least try one out before buying to see if it's what you need. I'm really trying to write an unbiased review.

I'm infuriated every time I have to use it and I watch my daughter squinting and dodging the sun in her eyes, running into everything at the mall, or lurch forward and stop suddenly each time we hit a crack in the sidewalk or the grass. It looks so hard to use I actually am embarrassed if someone sees me trying to straighten it out. I ended up buying a (much better) three-wheeled stroller to replace this.

Negatives:

- The sunshade does absolutely nothing unless the sun is directly behind you.

- Really hard to steer/turn, making it really hard to use at the mall, grocery store, etc.

- Not a smooth ride. Hit one crack in the sidewalk and it lurches forward (not thrilled this kept happening to my infant). Forget about using it on the dirt or grass.

- Our carseat kept getting stuck in it after only a few uses. Also, you really had to cram it in there to make it attach securely.

- Bulky and heavy folded up(yes, most strollers are) but I find it really tough to fit in my trunk (new camry)

- Not easy to fold up/open. You definitely need two hands and your foot, which is usually not possible when you have a baby, keys, dogs, bags, etc.

- Cupholder (for parents) pops off all the time.

- Basket underneath is small, my diaper bag won't even fit.

Positives:

- Good color selection.

- Reclining seat is nice and easy to use.

I would seriously advise someone to look into another stroller and spend your money else where. Good luck!

"Great stroller, just in need of a couple improvements" 2010-02-26
By Kate (Grand Rapids, MI USA)
We love this stroller. We started using it with the car seat as a travel system but found that the baby preferred it alone on walks. We started using it without the car seat at about 6 weeks old and have never had a problem with him slouching or tipping over even if it is in the most upright position and he is sleeping! I like that it reclines all the way. (We even use it as a changing table during outings! It is spacious and comfortable for my little one. It has amazing tires that will trek across pretty much any terrain with ease.

My only major complaint is that the sunshade might as well not exist at all since it provides zero shade. I am hoping the purchase of a shade extender will help. It is also quite heavy and the seat part doesn't stay very compact when folded. And the cup holder sits VERY low...too close to baby in my opinion.

 "Better than the Cortina" 2010-02-18
By A. Bott (Minnesota, USA)
I've got the Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat and this stroller works great with it! We like it better than the cortina because it is more streamlined, compact, easier to maneuver in stores etc.

Pros:

-Good looking, cleans up very well.

-Works seamlessly with Keyfit & Keyfit 30 carseats. Locks in and feels very secure, also rides taller than some other strollers so I don't feel like I am stooping to lift the baby in and out.

-Good wheels. Handled well up curbs and over small bits of grass.

-Nice double cup holders for baby.

-Maneuvers very well, easy to steer with one hand

-Nice, tall, handles. I am 6'0" and they are comfortable for me.

Cons:

-Wish it stood on its own when folded. It folds pretty small for the stroller size, but it doesn't stand neatly without being propped up.

-Adult cupholder sometimes pops off when you fold and unfold, but it is easy enough to snap on.

-The canopy really does suck. May as well not even exist. If you want the canopy, you should purchase an add-on canopy.

"received a defective stroller--chicco sent me a new one!" 2010-02-12
By L. A. Piper (Tampa, FL)
When I recieved this stroller from "baby age" the fram was bent and the wheels were wobbly. The stroller seemed very cheap and not nice. I e-mailed CHicco and they immediately mailed me a new one. The new stroller is so much nicer, the wheels turn great, it even smells better (I guess "new stroller smell") I really think that the TREVI I received from baby age was an after market knock off or a defective stroller or maybe just an older version. They look the same but the stroller I recieved directly from chicco is much nicer.

This stroller is a little harder to maneuver than the Chicco Liteway (which I also have) and is much bulkier. However, My LO likes to sit up straight and does not like the 5 point harness. This is one of the few umbrella type strollers that allow your baby to only use the 3 point harness----I would say this stroller is a "hybrid" between full size strollers and umbrella strollers. exactly what I was looking for!

 "Great Product" 2009-10-15
By Marcelo P. Pinto
I live in São Paulo Brazil and I bought the stroller through the AMAZON.COM because CHICCO products are of good quality. The product arrived at my house in perfect condition. It is very easy to install and good practice. The wheels are quite resistant to any type of soil. I'm using the stroller for my daughter of 8 months and I intend to use for my next child. It was a good buy! I recommend it to everybody.
