Don't make little babies sit in these chairs when they are not able to sit on their own. It is not healthy for their health and spine developement. Don't push babies beyond their abilities. Enjoy your little ones natural milestones. There is no hurry - they grow so fast!

My almost four month old son LOVES his Bumbo! The first time I sat him in it he was two months old and he did lean over quite a bit. It only took one more day for him to realize he loved sitting up! He loves to watch my husband and I do stuff around the house. Not to mention football! He enjoys this so much he likes to get baths in it (we are aware of the warning on the back of the seat, he HATES his baby tub)!!!
We're looking forward to getting the tray (can't believe he doesn't have it yet!).

We bought this for our daughter who had a new baby. Mom loved it and so did baby. Would give it fives stars, but it was way over-priced for a brightly colored chunk of foam.

When my son was 8 weeks old I put him in the Bumbo just for fun. To my amazement, he loved it; the little lip on the back of the seat gave him a place to rest his head while he enjoyed this new vantage point. Since then he's sat in the Bumbo for a few minutes every day, and I believe it's given him a real advantage in core strength -- today he rolled over back to front and he's only 12 weeks old!
