 "Very helpful!" 2010-01-07
By Ginger Bailey (USA)
We have two of these for our twins and they have been extremely helpful! Sometimes it is the only way to calm them down. It is also a good way to keep them elevated when they are sick and have head congestion. The one problem is that their feet can kick the controls and turn on the vibration or music when it is not needed and it drains the batteries (it does have automatic shut-off, but not for 25 minutes.) The directions for putting it together were confusing. FYI--the stuff that looks like packing on the frame is actually padding and not meant to come off, but there is nothing that specifies that. Despite the small drawbacks, this has been a great product and would buy it again.

 "My baby likes it!" 2009-12-13
By Lyudmyla Tarelkine (USA)
The bouncer is not for intertaining -that's true... And It was not easy to assemble... But, I'd give it five star for soothing my fussy baby! She was terrible until we bought this thing - crying ,that was all my 1 month old baby did. Then my husband brought this bouncer and it was a miracle -baby slept all day without any fussing!! Awesome!!!! She likes sounds and soft vibration - and we all are in peace!!

"Nice but could be better" 2009-08-06
By Jana Leigh (New Jersey, USA)
I am a foster mom to newborn infants. I've used this bouncer for several months now. Most babies have enjoyed sleeping in it. It seems to be cozy and they can really stretch out in it. The vibrating feature is nice but we seldom use the sound feature. The canopy is handy especially to block out too much light which really does disturb some babies. The hanging toys are not very interesting and can be a nuisance to keep reattaching(the velcro doesn't seem to stick real well). I have never used the swaddle blanket because it just seems too complicated. My only real problem with this bouncer is that the plastic control box is badly situated. My last baby was 3 months old and enjoyed kicking but his feet were constantly hitting the box. Not at all comfortable. The box should have been placed in another out of the way spot.

"4months and good so far" 2009-06-12
By L. Williams
Pro: It's a solid bouncy chair, which most newborns like, and most newborn parents love because it really frees you up when your arms are jelly or you're about to burn dinner (ok, and any time you need 5).

Con: 4month old Ella's addicted to it, now. We'll have a tough time transitioning her because she had reflux and slept better (ie longer) in the chair. The critique that the plastic box is reachable is valid, our long little girl was kicking at it before she hit 4months. Also, the vibration was not popular, but it chewed up batteries the couple of times we tried it out. Also, the "hood" was unnecessary even if she did like the detachable moon, stars, etc for a couple of weeks around 2 months old.

Net Review: A HUGE help, but many bouncy chairs are. Maybe it wasn't worth 60 but the rain sounds and comfy quality were really addictive for our little girl. At 4months she IS outgrowing it though (and everything else).

"Expensive and not entertaining for baby. Hard to assemble" 2009-06-03
By M. Morgan
I chose this bouncy seat because I thought it was cute and matched my pack and play and carseat. Right away I realized it was a mistake. It was VERY hard to assemble. The directions were not clear and the fabric was too tight to stretch over the frame. Also, the weight limit on it was lower than all the fisher price ones.(18lbs as opposed to 25lbs. Then, once my daughter arrived, she never really seemed to like being in it.. She much prefered her swing. Once she got to be 6 weeks or so, she would gaze at the little hanging toys.. but they didn't really hold her attention. I just figured it wasn't her thing, until my mother bought a different bouncy seat at a garage sale.. It had toys at her eye level and they were big and brightly colored (the ones on this are white and plush).. She LOVES that one.. she will sit in the garage sale one for hours and entertain her self.. This one just has nothing to keep her busy.. We never use the swaddle function, even though my daughter enjoys being swaddled, it is too complicated. Get a cheaper fisher price one.. THe baby will like it more.
