The design of this seat is beautiful, but I'm kind of frusturated with how poorly it keeps my daugher in the seat. She's only two, but can easily undo the buckels and get out all by herself. I was hoping to find a seat that would keep her in place while I'm getting dinner ready!

My 18 month old son is very independent and very intent on being a big boy sooner than later. So the high chair had to go. I bought this booster not only because it's less bulky and more attractive than others, but I also really liked the strap system, it appeared to be just what my son needs. We have been using this booster for over a month now and we have no complaints. It is easy to clean, easy to use, and my son seems to enjoy it as well. The only thing that I can say is that there is a space between the base of the seat and the cushion that does collect food, although it is still relatively easy to clean, I would prefer that these be attached with a closed seem.

I purchased this booster for about 3 weeks. I only used it for a week because the color came off from the booster. I saw my daughter's legs has brown color small tiny pieces stuff. I asked the customer service from the store and they pushed the buyer to deal with the manufacture. I am still waiting for their answer for return.

Our son, a 20 mo old big boy, doesn't really like this seat. He never seems to be able to sit up straight, and always slides forward. I played with the straps, but they either pull on this shoulders or his thighs if they're too tight, or let him slide forward. I wish they made it with a little bump underneath the thighs to keep him snuggle in the seat. He still prefers the high chair. But being a booster seat, I still have hopes that it will be useful one day.

It's very easy to take on and off the chair, however it's bulky to take around; so we bought a foldable one to take with us when we go to other people's houses, or for a picnic.

The material is nice a squishy and it was easy for me to clean it (but it hasn't been fully tested with lots of food and milk).

So, until he grows up a little I would rate it a 3 star, and hope it will be more useful later on.



Update: he is now 23 months old, and he sits very well on it! He seems very comfortable too.

So I guess it should be used as a booster, and not to replace a high chair for a small toddler

I purchased this seat for my son to use as a "travel" high chair. It truly attaches to any kind of seat & provides several buckles which are also very easy to attach. My son seemed to find the seat comfortable. The Musty Booster seat is very safe, and your child will fit securely in the seat. The only problem with the seat is that it is a bit large & not always easy to carry from place to place.

Since the law has changed that requires children to be in a booster seat for a longer period of time I was searching for a seat that would be comfortable as well as safe. I know I wouldn't want to sit on a piece of hard plastic with just a thin pad to buffer so I began my search. The Cleck Olli seat has exceeded my expectation because it is not just comfortable, it is perfect during the winter months because it is warm - unlike the cold plastic of seats you purchase from mega-stores. It is also durable and I love the fact that it "clicks" into the bars that are in the seats of whichever vehicle you are driving thus providing a safety feature beyond compare.

Why oh why wasn't this seat around for my first child? It is in perfect shape after over 1.5 years, with daily use, switching between cars, and a fair number of long trips. It fits perfectly in overhead compartments on planes. Even a couple of taxi drivers have written down the info to get one for their own kids and/or their cabs. Comfortable (according to my son), ultra-convenient, and durable. No more concerns about the seat sliding when the child is getting in and out of high seats. More expensive, but worth every penny.

I've owned this Clek Olli booster seat for almost a year and I like it for the main 2 reasons I purchased it.



1. Comfort.

My son is pretty finicky with the comfort of car seats and I have gone through several toddler and booster car seats with him. After trying to save money with the better valued products, I ended up spending more to go with more expensive seats and then giving away the other seats. As a toddler, he would cry. When he learned to talk, he would complain. I read other peoples' reviews saying the seat is comfortable and saw Clek's claim to do away with numb bum and thought I had to give it a try. My son never complained about the comfort of this seat. I am happy to drive around in peace. BTW, we have also purchased for him an evenflo backless booster, a compass booster, a britax parkway, and a safety 1st safeguard go hybrid; a variety to compare.



2. Better safety than regular backless boosters.

At the time I purchased this, it had the uncommon feature of being securable by latch. Most boosters sit on the seat and can shift around. When you are used to securing toddler car seats so tightly in the car and having them buckle up with snug 5-point harnesses, it's pretty unnerving to switch over to a movable booster and regular seat belt. The Olli clicks right into the car's latch system and sits tight. It is also very easy to remove and move to another car. Just push 2 buttons to release. If you have a car without latch, then it just functions as a regular booster. I suppose it might still be worth purchasing if your car doesn't have latch, if comfort for your child is a priority.



My son is able to easily fasten his own seat belt. The width of the seat, the arm rests, and the design of the seat don't get in his way. The car's seatbelt sits properly on him. The nylon bag that it comes with is nice for traveling, but I don't expect it to last too long. The cup holder is more a toy pocket than a cup holder. I think it is a bit pricey, but we'll be keeping it for years.

 "LATCH causes the problem we have...." 2009-12-24

First of all, I spent the extra money hoping to get a booster that I could use in my 2010 GMC Acadia. I have 3 small kids, 2 in boosters and one in a FF car seat. We simply couldnt make all 3 fit across with their current seats (2 Graco Turbo Boosters and an older Graco something). So we bought this expensive booster AND the expensive Sunshine Kids Radian (which is touted as the narrowest FF seat on the market). However, since the Olli has the LATCH thingys (that stick out), the seat cannot be adjusted ONE INCH to one side or the other. With it up against the Radian in the middle seat (which has no LATCH) the boostered child would not be able to buckle their seatbelt. Therefore, we have to have the booster slightly to the outer side of the latch anchors and pushed into the seat. This is fine, but then we are committed to buckling this booster in when not in use. If it werent a trajectory hazard before, it is even more so with those metal brackets sticking out of the back of the seat. We've used it a few times now so Im not sure I can return it but I'd really like to. I think its a good seat but NOT recommended for those who are trying to fit "3-across" due to it NOT being adjustable side-to-side within the seat.

My 5 year old son is doing great in this car seat. I did not feel comfortable putting him in a booster seat that could move around in the car. This is a great option between a moveable car seat and one that he feels is too 'babyish' (with the five-point harness). Very easy to put in and out as well.
