I like my Dekor. It was on clearance at TJMaxx and I decided to give it a try because I'd never heard of it. The original bag held newborn and toddler diapers for nearly four months and I never smelled anything until I opened it. It would be nice if it were a little bigger because it feels up pretty quickly. It's nice to not have to carry every single diaper downstairs, wrap it up and toss it in the trash. The Dekor is stylish and sturdy. It compliments any nursery or bathroom and doesn't tilt when opened. It really locks away smelly diapers and would make a great gift.

I bought this for my first baby and at first it was great. When the diapers are not that stinky, the dekor is a good diaper pail. When you start to give your baby food and the diapers begin to smell, then the dekor starts to smell. You could walk into her room and it was awful. (and yes, I would change the dekor often) Which was another issue - having to purchase their refills got to be pretty pricey. We just had our second daughter 2 months ago and we had to get a different one - we could not even wash the smell out of the diaper dekor - we threw it in the trash. :o(

We bought the Diaper Dekor because we knew people who had trouble with the Diaper Genie. The Genie was overkill, tedious and too much work. The Dekor has been fabulous! I can't say enough about this thing. My son just turned 2 and it's still working. We change the bag every week or when there's a particularly bad diaper. Hey, no diaper pail is going to keep a really bad diaper from filling a room when you change your baby. But the Dekor doesn't smell, doesn't hold odor...after 2 years! It's easy, simple, easy to clean, works perfectly, and will now serve our baby #2. Buy this! Don't mess with Diaper Genie or expensive complicated procedures, you won't have time. This is a gimmick free blessing. We bought 3 boxes of refills when my son was born, we just used them up 2 years later. What a deal!

It is good for new born mess, but once the little ones start to really start filling their diaper it stinks. We loved it at first then when our little girls diapers started to fill up it really started to stink

I've used the Diaper Dekor since the birth of my now 7-month-old daughter and I loved it to begin with. Very easy one-hand use--step on the pedal, drop the diaper through the flap, very easy to tie off a bag when it became full. In the beginning, it handled odors well too; even smelly diapers didn't cause problems. But as soon as I started feeding solid foods, things changed. It proved completely incapable of containing the ghastly stench of those diapers. My daughter's room is at the top of our stairs, and the stench didn't just fill the room, it flowed out her door and down the stairwell, so we were treated to a powerful whiff every time we walked upstairs. I took to leaving her window open and the fan on to air out the room during the day and emptying the pail before bedtime at night in order to prevent it from stinking up the house. That lasted a week -- I just bought a new pail (a Diaper Genie 2) and I hope that works better.
