I use this sunshade with my coffee brown Maclaren Twin Triumph stroller, and I love it. The color is almost exactly the same, and is close enough that you can't tell it's different unless you're staring at it. The shade goes on and comes off easily, and stores in a small bag that fits easily in the basket under the stroller. It provides a TON of shade and keeps the kids cool. We also love the venting on the side that allows a little extra wind the blow through when there's a breeze, and gives the kids a way to see out the side of the stroller when we're walking. GREAT buy!

It does help block more sun but it's not worth $40. It's just a piece of fabric with a flexible rod and some fabric ties. It also appears to block airflow for the babies because they seemed more sweaty after I put this on. I'm sending it back.

I've tried every car window sun shade availble with little or no success in keeping the sun off my baby, until I found this one. It truly blocks the sun (it's UPF 50+), it's adjustable, and it's safe (unlike the shades that stick to the window which can be dangerous in a crash, this sunshade is crash-tested for safety). I love it. It can also be used on strollers. Highly recommend!

We use this sunshade on our Phil and Teds Sport model - takes a minute to get it set up but works excellent. Especially for loong periods out in the sun - covers your child completely. The canopy on the Phil and Teds is not great so anytime were going to be in the sun for a period of time I put it on. I also purchased the Protect A Bub backseat/tandem cover - again takes a min to set up but great su protection!

This definitely is a great extension to the practically useless sunshade that comes with any umbrella stroller. We have the MaClaren Quest Sport and this is a perfect match. It provides plenty of shade for our baby. It is key to understand that if your stroller does not already have a sunshade, this product is not for you simply because it must sit on top of an existing sunshade in order to stay up. My only complaints are (1) that it doesn't really adjust although you can kind of pull it up like a sleeve on a shirt if you wanted to see your baby more and (2) you have to tie it onto the stroller whenever you want to use it. Velcro would've been a better solution, IMO. Overall, it's a great product and does exactly as it describes... i.e. provides more shade for your baby.

I bought the Protect-a-Bub shade for my newly purchased jogging stroller. It is fantastic! The biggest issue I have with most strollers is the lack of shade provided to the child.



This shades my daughter about 80% when I put it on. It is easy to use and folds out of the way it its own little pouch when not in use. It has ties to attach it to the stroller, which are handy and allow me to customize the way it fits on the stroller.



There are a few drawbacks, like it does make folding the stroller difficult if you are out and about. Since my jogging stroller is so big, I do not end up folding it up much when I am out. My daughter is a toddler, so she can crawl in and out fairly easily with this on, but it could be troublesome if the child was small. Additionally, it is a little funny looking (looks like the stroller is wearing an old fashioned ladies hat).



But the shade it gives her more then makes up for it! She never gets burned in the stroller. Additionally, we live close to multiple theme parks. This makes hot sunny days bearable for her in her stroller. She can sit or nap with ease and shaded from the hot sun. When the shade is not needed for the day, I untie it and pop it back into its little carry bag. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for additional shade on their stroller.

My daughter and I go for a walk everyday. She would get so upset when the sun was in her eyes, even with sunglasses on. This sunshade completely keeps her eyes protected. She is so much happier in the stroller now, and you have to love that this shade helps to protect sensitive skin from getting sunburned. I was a little worried that this sunshade would fit on our stroller. We have an all terrain stroller with a tray and I was worried about the shade fitting over the tray. No problem there though. This is such an awesome product. I only wish that I had found it sooner.

Very flimsy, and does not stand up to any sort of wind (even the slightest breeze).

When I had my second child, I splurged and bought the newest Phil & Teds Sport V2 double Tandem Stroller....even though I knew it lacked in accessories. Once it became warmer and I wanted to walk to burn off baby fat- I realized that the lack of sun protection for the littlest ones in the doubles seat was a problem. I came across this a while back and hemmed and hawed about spending the money, and then just sucked it up and bought it.

And let me just say, that it is worth EVERY PENNY. It is very well made, and completely flexible, so it works when the back seat is reclined or not. My little one was completely covered, cool, and the elastic top part made checking on him so easy. A cinch to take on and off too...no more of process than adding/removing the doubles seat on the stroller.

At 3- my kid in front wouldn't have wanted a full mesh screen, so for the baby this is perfect. Awesome prduct. And now that I see how its made, I think its a bargain!
