My husband & I were sent this item as a Baby Registry gift recently & we are so happy we were. It took us maybe 10-15 minutes to assemble (it comes flat in the box) & another 2-3 minutes to work out how all the controls work.
The colours aren't at all invasive in our family room, which is an added bonus. We weren't bothered either way, we were more concerned about the comfort of our baby, but this seat looks as though it offers both. Both comfort & style. Unfortunately, the toys don't look particularly stimulating for a little baby, but we plan to change them out as the baby gets older & attach more stimulating things for the baby to play with. This is easy to do with the velcro loops that are attached to the toy bar.
The four adjustable recline settings are very easy to set, although it does require two hands to do so. One to pull the lock out & one to lift the seat up & down. This, however, is very easy to do, so shouldn't take a second. This is the same with setting the stabilising bars that stop the seat from rocking. You need a hand on either side to flip the bars up or down, but again this really isn't difficult to do, so it's fine. When they are down, the seat is very firm & doesn't wobble or tip at all. When they are up, the seat does rock slightly, although the movement isn't huge. I think this is a good thing, I would rather the rocking motion be gentle. There is a 5 point harness on the seat though, just in case your little one chooses to rock themselves! This is definitely a vibrating rocker, not a bouncer, just to be clear. There isn't a huge amount of padding at the foot of the seat, where your baby's feet will be, but the bottom of the seat has such a large, smooth lip around it that the baby isn't likely to bang it's feet or ankles against bars or anything like I've seen & read in reviews of different products.
The fabric on the seat is very soft & comes off very easily. It's machine washable & can be machine dried. The headrest that comes with the seat can be machine washed & air dried. The toys & the toy bar can be wiped clean. The fabric of the headrest is a soft fleece with a small cotton section where baby's head will rest.
The electric controls for the music etc, slide in & out easily using one hand at the base of the seat & have a screw compartment that holds in the batteries (which do not come included, you will need 3 x C batteries). The music itself isn't too offensive either. It's not the usual Twinkle, Twinkle or nursery rhyme music, it's a bit more jazzy than that. There are a couple of more upbeat tunes & a few slower tracks too which is nice.
I especially like the height of the seat. I have added a few photos on the page where you can see it comes not too far off the height of our dining room table, or our arm chair. Both perfect for having baby near you. That would make feeding baby easy & also make the baby feel a bit more included in the room I guess. I also like the fact that as we have wooden floors in our home, the baby is lifted from the floor which means it's not near the dust that can accumulate on wooden floors, or the cold.
The storage basket underneath is great. It's about 4 inches (10cm) deep & easily capable of holding a blanket, diapers, wipes etc. so you can have them close on hand for changing.
All we need to do now is have our baby to make use of this chair. When we do, I will update with how they feel about it! Not long now :0)

This was a shower registry pick by one of my best friends, so I got it for her- and just like she thought- she loved it and so did her baby! It was a good height for the baby and doing things with him and talking to him. However, just a word of caution: the baby only was in it for the first 1-3 months, unlike the swing, which my grandson used for at least 6-9 months. Of course, you can't put a swing on the floor by your feet while you are doing things and its not nearly as portable. So you may feel you need BOTH items (my daughter did!).

I received this seat as a shower present. We really liked it when our baby was a newborn; he even slept in at night for several weeks. We especially liked that it was higher off the ground than most bouncer seats. We have a bulldog and she was not able to give the baby kisses in this seat! Cons: Now that our baby is 4 months old he is able to kick or pull the toy bar off in a matter of seconds and is bored without it ;-(

We have 6-week-old twin boys and have tried both of them in this seat off and on in recent weeks. Pros: great height (very convenient), comfortable seat, easily adjustable, the rock-with-your-foot feature is great (especially when you have twins! You can hold one baby and rock the other in the seat). Cons: Poor assembly instructions, the toy bar does not snap in place securely (despite trying everything other reviewers suggested) and the vibrator isn't quite fast enough.
