when i first received it, i couldn't believe that it was waterproof because you can't see the waterproof fabric which is inside. so i poured water on it to see if it penetrates, and the other side stayed dry! so yeah, it is waterproof. i like that it is without potentially harmful chemicals and organic. besides, who wants that plasticky backing when you sleep??

I put this on a baby registry and received it as a gift. I was very excited since the pattern is very cute. I have a Chicco infant car seat and it did not totally fit. The elastic on the sides did not stay in place and you could see the original seat. The biggest problem was the shade cover. You could replace the Chicco shade with this one, but it didn't go all the way to the sides leaving plastic visible. Since only one side of the shade is rigid plastic it limits being able to pull the shade down all the way (like when you walk with the carrier in a stroller and want to shade the sun etc.)



All around once it was on it was pretty clumsy looking. I was sure right away the lack of fit would drive me crazy and was definitely not worth the $$. I gave it 3 stars because if it does fit other car seats it might be nice.

I received this as a shower gift (Carnival Bloom print). I registered for it and was so excited to receive it. However, I would not recommend this product for several reasons. The cover I received started unraveling after using it for less than 2 months. I contacted Emmalu design right away and she advised that I had to go through amazon. Since It had been 5 months since my shower, Amazon said to go to the company directly. A product made to be a car seat cover should work for longer than 2 months. I again contacted Emmalu designs and she has failed to return my phone calls. I am disappointed as I have an expensive cover that is falling apart. I would also note that the fit is a bit too snug and pulls. It is on a Graco snugride (the basic model not rated for bigger babies). I do not recommend this product though the fabric is so darn cute! I am still hoping that the owner of emmalu designs will replace my cover...

Overall I am satified with this product, but just as an FYI to buyers - When I washed the mattress protector for the first time, it did shrink from 29 inches to 27 1/2 inches WITHOUT drying it. This worked well for me because it was slightly too long for my bassinet, but who knows how much it would have shrunk if I had dried it.



It is sturdy and has NO chemical smells. I question what makes it waterproof if it's just 100% cotton, but it does seem to repel water.

These are great! I put them in the carseats for the accidents that happen when my kids fall asleep in the carseat as they have not yet learned to wake up when they have to use the potty. I take an extra second to straighten them before the kids sit down and then they stay in place just fine. The car seat covers are a pain to get off for washing so these help to prevent frequent washings of the car seat covers.



Adding some velcro would make these perfect!

I thought I would save some time when preparing for my second child by just buying this product instead of sewing more of the seat-liners I made for my daughter. BIG MISTAKE!!!



The coverage on this thing is abysmal! It is quilted with polyester batting. Polyester is NOT absorbent! The knit-terry (like baby wash cloths) on the next-to-bottom side IS probably around 80% cotton. So that is somewhat absorbent, but that is all you've got for absorbency! 80% of a super thin knit-terry.



I ended up cutting this seat liner up to see what it is made of, and then sewing more of my own design (much better coverage!)using ProCare as a barrier and 3 layers of super-soft, 100% cotton quilter's flannel.

I am potty training twins, and although I only put this into action ONCE... It saved the day. My daughter had an accident in the car, and not ONE drop made it to the seat below. Throwing this pad in the wash verses pulling the car seat out, dissasembling, and removing all padding, washing, etc., is a no brainer, and worth the cost. :)

I put this on my baby registry because we had constant blowouts with my first child and now that we are expecting our second I thought it would be a great product. Someone purchased it for me and now I'm going to ask them to send it back. It simply does not fit in the infant carrier seat. If there were slots for the straps it would, but then it wouldn't be protecting the seat. I just wanna cry because money was wasted.

After washing the seat cover several times, we found the piddle pad at a local retailer. It was awkward to place directly on top of the seat, so I put it under the seat cover.



We had a recent accident, and the piddle pad caught everything, and saved my car's upholstery.



I just ordered 3 more to cover our second child and another set of car seats. The cost is covered with the first accident -- no more cleaning the upholstery!
