I had to return this bouncer once because the fan motor started making really loud noises. I got another one from Amazon and it did the same thing. So, I called Fisher-Price and they sent me a toy bar replacement. They were great to work with. My son absolutely loves this bouncer. The music is fun, and I love that it lasts 20 minutes, so you can get a chore or two done. Love this, despite the issues.

Very adorable bouncer - wish my 10 month old could still use it but he's too heavy.

My only reason for 4 stars: toy bar & vibration makes annoying vibrating sounds - like there are objects hitting on each other. My solutions was to put napkins in between wires right on the battery compartment & it helped... but I did have to fix it a few times. The vibration noises also came from the toy bar... one of the toys with the springs, and I had to tie a ribbon around it to stop the noise - not the safest thing but baby couldn't reach it at that time anyway.

As a simple chair, this seat is cute and comfy and has been very handy, but there have been some definite drawbacks when it comes to the bells and whistles. For one, the vibration setting sometimes causes the entire battery box to rumble loudly, though I've found that as my little one has gotten older and heavier that she dampens the vibrations and this hasn't been as much of an issue. You also can't really use the vibrate setting when the toy bar is attached because it causes the entire bar to rattle like a jackhammer. This hasn't been a huge problem, though, as my daughter has had little interest in the toy bar. She would watch it for a little while when she was smaller, but it's not nearly as interactive as the description would lead one to believe. At four months, my daughter has pretty much outgrown the seat except for the occasional nap (She gets bored quickly and strains to sit up in it unless she's tired.), and she still can't reach that darn whale. She's by no means a small kid (70th percentile for height at her last doctor visit), but by the time she'll be able to reach that whale she'll have outgrown the seat completely. I wish I had gotten a seat with some lower hanging toys, or better yet with some attachment points so I could hang some of her favorite toys. I've taken to clipping toys to the springs that support the penguin and turtle, which sort of works but is hardly ideal. I bought this seat based on all the glowing reviews, and I have used it a good deal as a chair, but overall I'd say that it's been a little disappointing.

Just this morning I put her in the bouncer and she napped for like an hour and a half while I cleaned the house. Yay! Last night she was crying and I put her in her bouncer, just so I could get myself a glass of water. But by the time I had put ice in the glass and started filling it with water, she had stopped crying and fell asleep. She was happy in there, in and out of sleep, for about another two hours! I got so much done!



I just wish there was a way to keep the music playing without having to keep pulling on the lion ring. Because my daughter really seems to like the music, but she's not old enough yet to pull the ring herself.



The toy bar is removable, which is convenient.

This was an item that I added to my wishlist and was sent to us by one of the grandparents. It was easy to put together, although the fabric is a very tight fit over the frame (which is a good thing). My husband put it together and was annoyed that the directions told you to pull the fabric over the vibrating part before you put the batteries in (hence his complaint about how tightly the fabric fit over the frame). One reviewer complained that the chair was too small, but I have not found this to be true. My baby is the average height and weight for a four month old and fits well and can reach all three rings easily. She is mesmerized by the animals and the bell and rattle in each of them. She will sit happily in the chair and move and bounce and pull at the rings. I like how easily the toy attachment is removed for when I want to interact with my daughter or use this chair for when I feed her. All in all I think this was a good value for what was paid and plan on being able to use it for the next two to three months at the least!

This is one of the simpler (and cheaper) bouncy seats out there, but my son just loves it. He is 3 months now and has just begun to bat at the toys. Usually, we remove the toy bar and just let him hang out in the chair and watch us as we go about. It's comfy, lightweight, and I don't know what we'd do without it. Yes, there are fancier bouncers, maybe even better ones, but if you're looking for a simple seat for your baby to rest in comfortably, I can recommend this.

This chair was a total waste! First off, it's small. My daughter outgrew this chair before she was 4 months old (her feet were hanging off the end). Second, it doesn't do anything when your baby moves so my daughter just sat there. The only thing it does is play a lame little ditty if you pull the circle on the middle animal so we kept doing it for her to entertain her for the few weeks she could use it. Don't waste your money... get the Kick & Play instead. It's bigger and it responds to baby's movements with lights and sounds.

i just got it - took fifteen min to setup and had really easy instructions. my son loves it! He's almost 6 months and this past weekend we tried him out in it in the Times Square Toys R Us and he was obsessed and loving it! The next day me and my husband decided we can't deprive our lil cutie from all the fun he would have with this thing, so I called up Toys R Us and they said the previous night was the last day of the sale - the jumperoo was on special for $[...] - a lil disappointing that I could've gotten it for just $[...] but here it's not that much more - at least I didn't pay the full $[...]. Bottom line - get it! Babies love this thing and according to me it's way nicer than the rainforest one plus i know this one you could dissemble to store pretty small.

My son is 6-months now and has been playing in this jumperoo since he was 4 1/2 months old. He smiles and screams in delight when he's in it and jumps till he's tired. Sometimes he would even look back at the toy after we take him out. The colorful toys surrounding the seat are fun to look at and to play with. He was attracted to the parrot right from the start. The music really do promote activity since it plays when he jumps, but you can turn it off or keep the music on too. I prefer not to let him play too long as I worry that he might hurt his neck or twist his ankle when he gets tired 'cuz it can bounce around pretty intensely. Overall though, it's a great activity center.

My grand daughter loves this! She loves to sit in it to watch a baby show on tv or just to play with the toys that are attacked. A little awkward to move around, its kinda big, but I would not do without it!
